Event Quest: Light Years Illumination (Reprint)

とある冬の日。資材護送の仕事を受け、
レプカーⅢを訪れた{0}。

大きな荷物を運び終え、一息ついていた所に
「プレゼント泥棒だ！」と叫ぶ悲鳴と、
こちらへ走って向かってくる人影を目にする。

{0}は、ひったくり犯の
前に飛び出して、その人物を取り押さえる。
誤解だと慌てる犯人の元に、
１人の人物が駆け寄ってくる。

そのヒトはドラマの監督らしく、
犯人は、撮影中のスタッフだと知り、
{0}は、急いで拘束を解く。

謝る{0}を見て、
監督は感嘆の唸り声を上げる。
キレのある動き、素早い身のこなし…
頼めるのはキミしかいない！と
監督は{0}の手を握る。

そして、クリスマスの日。
護送してきたクリスマスツリーの上を、
大きな白い袋を担いで駆け抜けていく
{0}サンタが登場するドラマが
一斉放送されたという。

One winter day, {0} visited
Lepka III on a supply escort mission.

When taking a brief break after hauling a large amount of supplies,
someone cried out, "present thief!"
{0} noticed someone running their way.

{0} leapt in front of the thief,
stopping them in their tracks.
The culprit desperately professed their innocence,
and someone ran up to them.

The person was apparently a drama director,
and the culprit was a staff member.
{0} let the culprit go.

Seeing {0} apologize,
the director let out an impressed sigh.
"Those deliberate movements, that fleetness of foot," he said.
"It has to be you!"
He grabbed at {0}'s hand.

Then, Christmas came.
It's said that a drama hit the airwaves, one which had
{0} clad in a Santa outfit
sailing over the Christmas tree they had escorted in, wielding
a large white sack.

クリスマストークショーへの出演が決まった
{0}と{1}。

２人は集まってくれるファンの皆に
サプライズをプレゼントしようと、
クリスマスソングをこっそりと練習する。

ショーは順調に進行し、いよいよ最後に
練習した成果を披露しようと
{0}が合図を出した時、
突然、会場の照明が全て落ち、
トークショーの会場は真っ暗に。

焦る{0}と{1}。
その時突然、ペンライトで描かれたファンからの
応援のメッセージが客席に浮かび上がる。

逆サプライズが用意されていたことに
驚きながらも、２人は笑って立ち上がり、
用意していたクリスマスソングを歌い始める。

{0}は心を込めてしっとりと、
一方、{1}は優しくも楽し気に
２人のハーモニーが会場内に響いていく。

会場全体が温かな気持ちと拍手の音に包まれ、
客席からは驚きと喜びの声が上がる。
歌が終わると、２人は手を繋ぎ、ファンへと一礼して、
聖夜のショーを終えたのであった。

{0} and {1} were set
to appear on a Christmas talk show.

Wanting to give their present fans a surprise,
they practiced a Christmas song in secret.

The show went well, and when the signal came at the end
to show the fruits of their practice,
the set's lights went out,
suddenly cloaking the talk show in darkness.

Panic hit {0} and {1}.
Then, just as suddenly as the darkness came an array of pen lights—
the fans in the audience were spelling out a message from their seats!

Stunned at the reverse surprise, the two stood up with a smile
and began to sing the Christmas song they'd prepared.

{0} put their heart into it
and sang with gentle levity, while {1}
added in a little pleasant cheer of their own.

Warm feelings and applause filled the room,
and cries both surprised and pleased came from the audience.
When the singing ended, the two held hands and bowed to
their fans, ending the Christmas show.

クリスマスイベントの依頼を受けたヒーローたち。
{0}はアイドルブームに乗っかり、
クリスマスライブの開催を提案する。

しかし、ライブ当日の朝。演出の軸にしていた
クリスマスツリーがトラブルで届かないと
{1}の元に連絡が……

{0}と{1}は、
慌てて、別のツリーを貸し出せる施設を探す。
{2}と{3}は、
オーナメントを探して、何件もの店をはしごする……

そして、日が暮れ始めた頃。
{2}たちは、大きなツリーと
大量のオーナメントを次々に会場へと搬入していた。

アイドルらしくもなく、フラフラになりながら、
ツリーの飾り付けを始める４人。
その時、来場者の１人が
{3}に手伝いを申し出る。
その姿を見て、また別のヒトも……と、
来場者たちは次々に飾り付けに参加していく。

……心温かな応援を受け、
ツリーを囲みながら始まる１夜限りのライブ。
準備で汚れたアイドルたちの嬉し気な横顔を、
イルミネーションの光が優しく照らしていた。

The heroes had taken on a job working at a certain Christmas event.
{0} wanted to jump onto the idol boom
and suggested a Christmas concert.

However, on the morning of the concert, {1}
received a message that the Christmas tree they would
use as the core of their performance would not arrive, due to some trouble.

{0} and {1} panicked,
searching for a store that would lend them a tree.
{2} and {3}
went from store to store, looking for ornaments.

Then, when the sun began to set,
the group carried in a large tree and a large amount of ornaments.

Exhausted and not feeling very idolish, the two began to decorate the tree.
Right then, someone entered the venue and
requested to help {3}.
Seeing that gesture, another offered help.
Then another.
More and more attendees stood up to help decorate the tree.

Awash with heartwarming cheers,
the one-night concert began around the tree.
Though the idols smiling faces were dirtied from the rushed preparations,
they looked radiant under the Christmas lights.
