The Parallel Weapon Vulpecula uses is a transformed version of the pocket watch he keeps on him at all times. It is able to affect time as experienced by himself and those around him, letting him accelerate and decelerate time at will while he acts freely. This enables him to move and attack with what appears to be supernatural speed—indeed, to those facing him, it appears as though he disappears the moment he activates his power. While impressively powerful, the greater the area of effect he exerts his power, the greater the strain he imposes on himself. His ability is terminally weak against powers that stop time and hamstring movement, so he keeps these weak points confidential.

Vulpecula wishes for a world where no one needs to look back on the past and can instead treasure the present. This is the source of his obsession to steal things of the past and liberate all from the chains of the sadnesses of old. Thus, he dons the mask, hiding his true feelings, and ventures throughout the galaxy in efforts to help those living in sadness forget their suffering and enjoy life to the fullest. Though he claims he has cast aside his own past, his aspirations are squarely founded on said past, a contradiction he must bear as he pursues his mission.

The dashing thief Vulpecula realized, to his despair, that his wish would only lead to emptiness and destruction. Facing the painful past he had locked away in himself, he vows to take back what should have been his present day from the Kaibutsu that stole it. He must, so that all people may bask in the glory of the moment, and he will pierce through the Kaibutsu that would threaten it and forge a path ahead to an ideal future. This wish is made manifest in his Parallel Weapons: the hourglass, and the sharp sword shaped like the hand of a clock.

While no one knows his true face on account of the fox mask he always wears, the countless copycat criminals he is responsible for have ensured that the world of preserving cultural heritage can know no peace.
