When he transforms into his hero form, complete with a colorfully glowing visor and armor, he wields an enormous Parallel Weapon that can shift into a greatsword or battle-axe. The reXer of today is not the same person as the reXer that once was. The hero known by his adoring fans has since been replaced by his son. A father in the real world who was wiped out of existence in a battle with Kaibutsu, his son inherited his avatar and continued his legacy under the same name. reXer displays great prowess in e-sports, and as fortune would have it, he is able to keep his father’s career going as a professional gamer. However, his abilities as a hero leave far more to be desired. Unperturbed by this, the younger reXer has but one wish: to see the hero his father had built up return to the world stage.
今ここにいる「リグザ」は、かつての「リグザ」とは異なる存在である。その正体は、かつての「リグザ」の実の息子。現実世界でのカイブツとの戦いの中で消えていってしまった父から、そのアバターを受け継ぎ、「リグザ」の名で活動を行っている。奇しくも彼もゲームの才能が有り、プロゲーマーとして活動はできているが、ヒーローとしての活動までは受け継げなかった。彼の願いはただひとつ。父の育てた「リグザ」というヒーローを、再び世の中に引き戻すことだ。

The new form reXer obtained while filming a show at a volcano, with new Parallel Weapons to match. Small fireball units float around him, manipulating heat and magma energy, and he also has a mighty crossbow that shoots flaming bolts powerful enough to pierce any foe. The suit covers very little skin, giving the impression of a hunter gone fully to the wild side, and it is made to keep its wearer comfortable under extremely high temperatures. Even when surrounded by molten lava in the bowels of a volcano, reXer will reward his stream viewers with his signature “cool” smile.
