Astar’s Parallel Weapon is a tablet-like device that scans and evaluates. Recreated from his dreams, it is an evolved version of something which was once lost. The tablet detects Hito-esque life forms within his immediate surroundings then simulates the muscle movements of each. It was originally made to identify which homes had children in them to then determine whether those children had been naughty or nice that year. Astar, however, uses it for entirely different purposes. Any time this stark discrepancy is brought to his attention, he simply gives the person a harsh look as he grumbles to himself.

Side Story

職業は「サンタさん」と自称する、赤い肌と巨躯を持った、炎を身にまとう宇宙人。彼のいう「オフシーズン」になる12月以外の期間は、主に木こりや木工細工を森の中で行っていた。基本的に交友関係を増やす事にとある理由から積極的ではなく、その経験値の足りなさから口下手である。そんな彼が積極的にヒトと関わる際には、「サンタさん」に関係ある事柄か、彼に根差す憧憬に触れる場合だろう。

Side Story (Translated)

A massive, red Cosman covered in flames, Astar tells all who will listen that he is a professional “Santa.” During his “off-season,” that being every month aside from December, he mainly works as a lumberjack and woodworker in the forest. Not eager to socialize with others—he has his reasons—his lack experience has left him an exceptionally poor conversationalist. If he is going to interact with others, it will have to involve Santa-ing, or something else that touches on the yearning in the depths of his heart.
