吹く事で任意のものを呼び集める事ができる、角笛のパラレルウエポン。それは大気に作用すれば風を呼び、時には積乱雲を集め嵐すら起こす事ができる。感覚的に使い方を理解しているステリオは、あまり深く考えず「たくさん風が出る笛」として扱っているようだ。家業で「猟犬」という役割を与えられたステリオは、狩猟では獲物を追い狩人をサポートする役目にある。変身してもその戦い方は変わらず、前線にいるヒーローたちを身体を張って援護する。

Sterio’s Parallel Weapon is a winding horn that allows him to gather objects of his choice when he blows it. If he uses it on the atmosphere, it summons up winds, even calling forth cumulonimbus clouds and causing storms. Understanding it mostly on an intuitive level, Sterio uses it as a “flute that calls a lot of winds” and does not think too deeply about it. As his family’s hunting dog, his job on hunts is to chase prey and support the other hunters. This style does not change when he transforms, and he supports the heroes on the front line with all that he has.

幼い頃のステリオは、父親が作ってくれた玩具でよく遊んでいた。中でも動物の角で作られた笛はステリオのお気に入りで、その音色はいつしか家族の集合の合図となった。どんな立場、いかなる環境に置かれようとも彼の中には常にきょうだいや両親の姿がある。ずっと一緒に生きて、己の「猟犬」という役割を果たすのだという決意がステリオをヒーローに覚醒させた。そうまでして彼が家族にこだわる理由について身内以外に知るものは殆どおらず、積極的に語られる事もない。

As a little pup, Sterio loved playing with the toys that his father gave him. His favorite in particular was a flute made from a beast’s horn, and its pitch eventually became the signal for the family to gather together. No matter where he is or what situation he finds himself in, Stereo’s brother and parents are always in his heart. Indeed, it was the desire to always live with them, to fulfill his role as a hunting dog, that pushed Sterio to awaken as a hero. No one outside of his loved ones seems to know why he is as stuck on his family as he is, and he makes no effort to volunteer this information.

一面雪景色の惑星で、ステリオは新たな願いを形にした。足に装着したスパイク型のパラレルウェポンは、いかなる地形でも地盤を固め確実に前進させる能力を持つ。ステリオの膂力であれば、行く先を阻む障害物を打ち砕く武器にもなるだろう。もう１つのパラレルウェポンは、ステリオの大切なヒトを終着点まで牽引する、犬ぞりを模したもの。それは持ち主が「先に進みたい」という願いに呼応して、風雪などの抵抗を無効化できる。しかし、ひとたび彼が怖気づくと効果はたちまち失われてしまうため、注意が必要だ。

On a planet blanketed in endless snow, Sterio gave shape to a new wish. The spike-shaped parallel weapons mounted to his legs grant him unwavering footing, anchoring him to the ground and allowing him to advance across any terrain. In the hands of someone with Sterio’s immense strength, they can just as easily become weapons capable of shattering any obstacle that bars his path. His second parallel weapon is modeled after a dogsled, designed to carry those dear to him safely to their destination. It responds to its owner’s desire to ‘keep moving forward,’ nullifying resistance from wind, snow, and even harsher elements. However, should Sterio falter or give in to fear, the weapon’s power fades in an instant, demanding unwavering resolve to be used to its fullest.

今の居住地とはまるで正反対の環境にある、ムイラウカⅥ。そこはステリオにとって「初めて」のものばかりに出会う惑星だった。冷たくて気持ち良い風、美しい雪景色、そして――大切なものを本気で奪い合う、戦いの地。狩る側と狩られる側が明確に分かれる、狩猟の場とは異なる緊張感に包まれる、白銀の惑星。しかしステリオの好奇心はおさまらない。限られた時間の中で、どこまでも遠く、自分の足で駆け抜けたいという願いを胸に、ステリオは犬ぞりを牽引する。仲間や家族を迎え送り、その後、空となった席に誰を乗せるのかは、未来の彼自身が決めるだろう。

Muirauka VI stands in stark contrast to Sterio’s current home, a world defined by conditions entirely its opposite. To him, it was a planet filled with nothing but ‘firsts’: the cold yet refreshing wind, the breathtaking snowscapes, and—above all—a battlefield where people truly fought to take what mattered most to them. Unlike the familiar tension of a hunt, where the roles of hunter and prey are clearly defined, this silver-white world was steeped in a different kind of intensity. Even so, Sterio’s curiosity could not be contained. With a wish burning in his chest to run as far as he could, as fast as he could, on his own two feet within the time he had been given, he pulls the dogsled onward. He carries comrades and family to their destinations, and when its seats finally lie empty, the question of who will ride there next is one that only his future self can answer.
