自身が銀河で一番だと感じる「一番酒」に出会いたい、そしてたくさんのヒトビトに「一番酒」に出会ってもらいたい。その夢を掲げてヒーローへと変身したモリヤスは、宴を盛り上げる華やかなヒーロースーツを身に纏い、巨大な槌と酒樽のパラレルウェポンを振るう。パラレルウェポンの槌を武器として扱うだけでなく、対となる酒樽の蓋を割ることで、酒類をはじめとした彼の知るあらゆる飲料が溢れ出す。そして、湧き出す酒気と戦場の高揚に酔うほど、モリヤスの動きは洗練されてゆき、宴の障害となる全てを打ち倒していくのだ。

Driven by the dream of discovering the ‘best drink’ in the entire galaxy—and of sharing that ultimate brew with as many people as possible—Moriyasu chose to become a hero. He transforms clad in a flamboyant hero suit designed to liven up any celebration, wielding massive parallel weapons in the form of a giant hammer and a sake barrel. The hammer serves not only as a weapon, but also as the key to its counterpart: by shattering the lid of the barrel, Moriyasu can unleash a flood of beverages, from fine liquors to every other drink he knows. As the battlefield fills with rising spirits and the intoxicating excitement of combat, Moriyasu himself becomes ever more refined in his movements, cutting down anything that stands in the way of the feast.

老舗の酒蔵の子として育ったモリヤスは、理想の酒造りについて昔ながらの製法に拘る実家と対立し、若くして家を飛び出した。世界中のあらゆる酒を識り、理想の酒を己の手で生み出したい。その想いだけを原動力にして、酒の大手卸売企業のバイヤーとして働きながら経験を積み、退職後の貯蓄を元手に自身の造り酒屋を開業した。そんなモリヤスのヤマツミブランドは実家とは真逆の方針で日本酒、ワイン、ウィスキーなど種類も味も多種多様な酒類を展開しており、星外にもファンの多い酒屋として成長を続けている。なお、父とはすでに和解しており、互いの酒を辛口で批評し合いながら、盃を交わす仲なのだとか。

Raised as the son of a long-established sake brewery, Moriyasu came into conflict with his family over his vision of ideal brewing, which clashed with their strict devotion to traditional methods. Leaving home at a young age, he set out with a single driving desire: to learn about every kind of alcohol in the world and one day create his own perfect drink. To that end, he worked as a buyer for a major alcohol wholesale company, gaining experience while saving every bit he could. After resigning, he used those savings to open his own brewery. Moriyasu’s Yamatsumi brand follows a philosophy completely opposite to that of his family, producing a wide range of beverages in both style and flavor, from sake and wine to whisky. As a result, it has continued to grow into a shop beloved even beyond its home planet. He has since reconciled with his father, and the two are said to share drinks together now, trading sharp critiques of each other’s brews as they raise their cups.
