Divers are specialists of the sea, challengers of the abyss. They possess highly trained bodies built to withstand the pressures of the depths, as well as minds strong enough to take any strain without flinching. They know from experience that the most important ability to have when trouble happens in the water is the ability to restrain one’s panic and remain calm. Divers are hired for a variety of missions, as well. They’ll perform dangerous tasks like investigating sunken ships and fending off aquatic Kaibutsu, but they will also do showy events in aquariums, earning them an enduring popularity with children.
